Groupcall

Groupcall was established to improve the level of general and emergency communication between a school and its students parents. However, discussions with schools soon revealed that many were also struggling to contact parents of pupils absent without authorisation on the first day of absence. Those schools that did have sufficient resource found their administration staff were spending more than two hours a day making and fielding calls to parents whilst tracking parents down with calls made to mobile phones was proving costly as well as time consuming.

Today, the company has two flagship products - Messenger and Xporter – both of which have been proven to reduce truancy rates and are now being piloted in other sectors, where databases can be message-enabled and used to contact groups of individuals.
